Real outcomes from complex challenges — how strategic product leadership translates into measurable business value.
Hospitality payments were fragmented — manual deposit collection, hours of reconciliation, and no support for complex bookings like group blocks or split payments.
Built an Intelligent Payment Orchestration Suite with automated rules engine, 5-way split payments, multi-reservation auth, and card type differentiation.
Managed 20+ PSP relationships, projected 15% processing cost reduction, $100K annual margin increase, and transformed payments into a platform stickiness driver.
B2B event contracting and group bookings remained stuck in static PDFs, fragmented systems, and manual deposit chasing — causing slow turnaround, delayed cash flow, and security risks.
Built a 0-to-1 AI platform that converts static PDFs into digital contracts, automates milestone-based payments, and integrates with Amadeus Delphi and major PMS/CRM systems.
Shipped significantly faster than previous launches. Deployed to existing Canary customers across Four Seasons, Wyndham, and Choice Hotels properties. Key driver of $9M ARR portfolio growth.
Yodlee — a $200M ARR division of Envestnet serving 17 of the top US banks — needed to reinvent its mature $25M Account Verifications wedge AND find the next curve to scale beyond $200M against Envestnet's billion-dollar ambition.
Two 0→1 launches: Account Tokens (the bank-account analog to card tokens, reinventing the wedge) and Subscription & Bill Tracker (on Yodlee's data core, with a Bill Shark partnership and an embedded UX pivoted from BoA feedback).
5–8% gross revenue increase on the mature book. SBT advanced to deployment discussions with BoA Diamond, Navy Federal Credit Union, and smaller banks. The 0→1 work stayed shipped; Envestnet later slowed and Yodlee transitioned to PE-owned.
Hired by PE investors to drive next-stage growth and set up the exit. Three blockers: single-processor concentration on FIS/TD Bank, a reconciliation diligence hurdle that surfaced during M&A, and a product org that needed to scale with the acquisition story.
Ran three workstreams in parallel: added Fiserv/Wells Fargo alongside FIS/TD as a true multi-processor framework; engineered a reconciliation solution matching platform dollars against bank AND card-brand settlement; scaled product 5→15 and drove a full brand redesign.
400% revenue growth, $10M → $50M run-rate ARR. Acquired by FIS/Worldpay; became Worldpay for Platforms, now part of Global Payments.
The deliberate move out of the PayPal bubble. Hybrid Director of Product role (LA every other week) at the industry leader in Chargeback Management. Mandate: grow the platform side and tie three product lines (Payment Platform, Intel Suite, Decline Salvage) into the chargeback flywheel.
Built the flywheel: merchants enter through Chargeback Management → convert to Payment Platform → which itself mitigates chargebacks. Then made the strategic call to deprecate Decline Salvage by building automatic Account Updater — reducing failures upstream rather than recovering downstream.
Cut fraud losses ~50%, risk exposure 20%. Re-platformed the stack. Built the team and foundations that contributed to the Visa acquisition.
A $4M platform Stax acquired from FIS was misfit in its architecture — leaking merchant payouts, failing third-party ACH for ISV partners. At Blackhawk, a ~2,700 TPS prepaid engine needed to hold uptime through holiday-season capacity events.
At Stax, recruited within 3 days to run build-or-buy under PE pressure; pursued both paths, then delivered fix over replace after the architecture read. At Blackhawk, led development of the processing engine that sustained the ~2,700 TPS peak.
Fix-over-replace saved millions and months of work versus a rebuild; platform carrying $500M+ monthly TPV and $20M daily consumer ACH left on a foundation the business could grow from. Blackhawk engine proven at ~2,700 TPS.
Knights of Columbus Financial Secretaries managed dues entirely by hand — paper notices, check processing, manual tracking — consuming 10+ hours/month with collection rates under 65%.
Built DuesSync: a full-stack SaaS platform with digital payments (card/ACH via Stripe), automated escalation notices, digital membership cards, and role-based access. Built with Claude as dev partner.
90% workload reduction for Financial Secretaries, 80%+ collection rate target, 15-minute council setup. Production app on Next.js 16, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Clerk, and Stripe.
Annual crab dinner fundraiser relied on phone calls, paper sign-ups, and cash/check payments — creating friction for buyers and administrative burden for volunteers.
Built a full event platform with online ticket sales, countdown timer, donation flow, sponsorship section, volunteer signup, FAQ, and Google Maps — using Next.js, Clerk, and Stripe.
Enterprise-grade fundraising platform for a community nonprofit, built in days. Enables ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships — all online, all automated.
Static resumes can't answer questions, demonstrate technical fluency, or convey 18 years of payments depth. A traditional portfolio format was too limiting.
Built this entire portfolio site in 1 week using Claude Sonnet 4.6 as co-pilot. Pure HTML/CSS/JS, live AI chat widget powered by Anthropic API with SSE streaming, deployed on Vercel.
9+ pages, zero frameworks, live AI assistant — proof that payments domain expertise and AI fluency together eliminate the need for a development team.
