The human side

Most of my life has been built around reliable systems — for banks, for PSPs, for platforms under acquisition pressure. The work below is where the same instinct shows up in a different form: communities, causes, and accountability structures that also need someone to keep the plumbing working. I run so they can read is the signature line for one of them. The rest follow a similar shape.

Dues, member records, financial reporting. Over a decade of running the numbers for a 200+ member council.

The recurring pain of doing this job in spreadsheets and paper-and-pen processes is what led to DuesSync — the payments-for-membership SaaS I’m building on the side. Community work seeded a real product problem.
Ultra-Relay Runner

200-mile team relay runs to raise funds for literacy programs in India. “I run so they can read.”
Fundraiser

Movember Foundation
13 years fundraising for men’s health — prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, suicide prevention. $20K+ raised to date across the run.
HOA President
2019 — Present
Walnut Park Owners Association
Seven+ years on the board of a mid-sized HOA, the last several as President. Budgets, vendor contracts, reserve studies, the occasional difficult neighbor conversation — the practical work of keeping a shared place functional.

Volunteer consulting for a nonprofit engagement — product and strategy advice for an organization that needed it and couldn’t afford it.
